"Sunrise" Quilt
"Sunrise" was inspired by the beautiful colors at dawn. The sky begins lightening into blues and progresses up through yellows as more time passes. This quilt features a gentle meander quilting pattern to blend with the gentle organic curves in the piecing.
All fabric is 100% quilting cotton flannel. Two different types of thread are used: 100% cotton for piecing and strong polyester for quilting. Inside is an 80/20 cotton polyester blend batting which provides just enough warmth, loft, and easy laundering.
This quilt is meant to be touched and loved. Gift it to a baby to be snuggled. Gift it to someone who appreciates the dawn, maybe an early riser. If it is hung on a wall, put it someplace where people will touch it. It's so soft.
